About us
A Thai restaurant has opened in the village of Holmesfield, and is doing sensational business in what used to be The Travellers Rest pub.
Chris Wragg and his Thai wife Keng Wragg have created one of the best Thai restaurants and is renowned for its outstanding cuisine.
The menu encompasses a wide range of well-prepared, enjoyable Thai dishes, some hot and very fiery, others soothingly milder and gentler.
Keng Wragg
Keng grew up in a same village on the famous river kwai, where her father was a doctor and farmer. As a child, she helped her mother sell noodles from a small stall. Working on the farm, she earned money towards her elder sister’s education. Having saved a little money, Keng opened a shop selling a wide range of goods.
Whist running this business, Keng paid her way through college with glowing distinctions. At 27, she met and later married, Chris Wragg- a business man with links to the Holmesfield area. After working in Thai restaurants throughout the area, learning the restaurant trade, Keng opened Thai at the travellers-together with her husband Chris.
